If you're here from "Confessions of A Pioneer Woman"...

PLEASE head on over to my actual blog...this is my old one. For some reason when I wrote my comment, this address popped up automatically and I didn't catch it until it posted! Sorry!

Here's the link The Black Horse Cafe

Okay...Okay...This is sorta the last post!

Well, I have been sitting around thinking about this whole blog thing. I really do LIKE having this blog, but certain things I have read lately really make me worry about the security of my family since I do post pictures, and do talk about all kinds of intimate family things. What to do? Well, my initial reaction was to just decide to be done with this stuff. Stop posting pictures, stories, everything. But...it turns out...there are people who are really getting something from this. From family who really enjoy hearing about and seeing the kids, to friends who somehow think that what I write is helpful to them! (WOW!) Anyway...to make a long story short...come visit me at "The Black Horse Cafe"...the link's over there---> it'll now be not just a food type blog, but also contain all the "Erin Chatter"....if you're interested!

Last Post!

Well, it's official! Although I have been keeping this blog for about a year, and it has been fun, I have decided to quit posting. Frankly, I am just getting too involved in the whole thing...trying to keep up with reading other blogs, figuring out what to write in my own blog and worrying about security type things, etc, I just have decided it's time to stop. There are so many other things that need attention here in my life...like my family, like myself, you know, all that kind of stuff!

I'll still be keeping in touch though, individually, with those of you who are my family, or friends...

Thanks for reading!

P.S. For now, I will still be keeping "The Black Horse Cafe" up and running. Maybe a little bit of this blog will morph its way over there, I don't know for sure yet!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, and just a side note...it appears it is possible to eat too much chocolate pecan pie!

A Year of Bloggity...

Hey...today's my anniversary! Yes, one year ago today I started blogging, thanks to Heather. It's been a great year! I have learned a lot!

Enjoy the Christmas music! And check out "The Black Horse Cafe" blog later today...I'm posting my homemade pizza recipe, complete with pictures sometime today!

Thanksgiving craziness... and gratefulness!

Well, it's that time of year again. Thanksgiving. We will be entertaining Sterling's parents this year, which will be fun, but I have about a million things to do today in preparation for this weekend. There are rolls to make, pies to bake, vacumning to be done, and, to top it all off, I bought some CUTE stencils of the moon and stars, and some "little green men" stamps with which to decorate Kiernan's room. He is SOOO interested in the moon and the "Big Dipper" star formation outside at night that I thought it would be cool to do his room in some glow in the dark paint! (The "little green men" are Sterling's contribution!) Of course, this doesn't have to be done today....but I'm dying to do it, so I'll add it to the list! Nothing like having lots to do!

My friend Heather (her blog's over there--> "Life as we know it")did a list of 22 things she is grateful for this Thanksgiving. Here's a few things I'm grateful for:

1. My amazing family....all of it. From my husband, to my kids, to the rest of our extended family members. They are all truly amazing, and I love them all. Immensely.

2. That our kids are healthy and happy! And we're not doing too bad either! (Which is quite the statement after our last year of sickness!)

3. For the house we bought this year. It feels like home.

4. For friends...old ones and new. Thank you for making my life better, and for listening to me!

5. For money....it makes the living a lot easier! Even at this time of year...when things are a little tighter!

Hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving...and sorry to all my Canadian family, who has already had Thanksgiving...I'll be thinking of you! (While stuffing my face!)
